table for one.

I just finished my class in mid Valley and i was so hungry. So i went to the food court for lunch.  Half way makaning, i saw my client. She came to me and asked :

" What are you doing here? "

I wanted to say " FISHING ", ( saje, cos she asked me soalan bodoh ) but i said " Lunch ".
Must give face a bit, cos she is my client. ;p

" You eating alone? How can your eat alone? If no one eating with me, i'll just skip the meal."

I just smiled back to her.
What is the BIG DEAL with eating alone?
Can you eat alone?
Cos i rather eat alone than starved to dead ..  alone. ;p


I always joke with my friends that ' I have company dinner every night '.
Cos i am the only person in my company, and i do eat dinner every night. lol ;p

    I always eat alone. Lol... But yeah... Lots of people I know can't do that. They feel weird eating alone, publicly!! (:

      Lol... Probably it's a type of phobia thing or people are brain washed that having meal alone is something abnormal. It's all in the mindset, I guess (:

      i lived abroad for 5 years and was so used to eating alone as everyone else was eating alone too, but apparently in malaysia, that's almost taboo! so weird!
      what's wrong with enjoying our meal alone? it's not illegal pun.

    I love eating alone walking down the streets of Pyramid with people staring at my oh so huge calves and making a turn back knowing there's another guy going to make the same turn!

      quite pack .. but my fav vegetarian food is there. :)

    It depends lor. Sometimes I can eat alone and I enjoy my freedom. Sometimes I feel seriously lonely when I do that. >.<

    I'm someone that's used to eating, shopping and hanging out on my own, but even then sometimes I still get that self conscious feeling... so I will avoid going to those very crowded restaurants when I'm alone.. Food court is ok, otherwise I'll just tapao back home and eat in front of the TV! :)

    And the most important thing when eating alone is to have something to keep u company, such as your phone or a magazine... so you won't feel so self conscious or find that ppl are staring at you :P

      or else i'll just concentrate makan and go off .. no need to waste time.. :)

    Most of the time, I can't see myself eating a meal in public alone.

    If I am alone, I will pack and eat in the office if it's working hour or at home if it's post office hour.

    I think for her eating alone is like "OMG gal, u ain't got any friends? That's bad" kind of feeling. Haha. Eating alone is normal. Always do it when I'm out alone. Still saint only..hahaha

    I know a lot of people who can eat alone. I can too, but sometimes right, people like to bother you when you're alone. Like one time, I was eating alone at Pavi food court, summo during peak hour. So I shared a table with this couple. The girl kept looking at me like one kind. Like I didn't belong there or something. I buat dunno and just finished my plate. Then she kept looking again. I was annoyed already at that point. She looked again, this time she asked her boyfriend to look at me with her. They both looked at me. And then suddenly they both muntah.
