好口節

There's this agreement among my friends :

Whenever it is someone's birthday, we have to be extra nice and polite when we talk to that person. No cursing, no negative stuffs and put on a smiley face, even it's that birthday boy/girl's fault. We called it " 好口節 " ( Good Mouth Day )

I guess that's the reason why we chose to text each other during birthdays. Cos it's extremely hard for bitches like us to be polite and stay positive, even just for 1 day. You know la, sometimes it's VERY HARD to control yourself but to say something bad when you see someone's face. ( If you know what i mean ) LOL ;p


Do you think you can be polite and stay positive to everybody for ONE WHOLE DAY?

Bump into with my ex lady manager at Mid Valley today. She is an super fun old lady ( early 60's ) but bitchy as well. We used to laser around just to provide some entertainment to our colleagues. And of cos she won't miss any opportunity to tease and laser me.

Her : Ooi.. how old liao? Still unmarried?

Me : Why should i?

Her : See? You start to grow old and got grey hair liao. Fast-fast marry la.

Me : You are much older and your whole head is grey hair lorr, why not fast-fast go die? ;p

Then we both laughed out loud.
Hmm... i missed my LASER days....


我說過，我的性格很叛逆。自從開始工做以來，已經沒什麼東西是“理所當然“的了。只有我要不要去做。也很討厭被逼著去做一樣我不喜歡的東西。還好，到目前為止還沒碰上讓我很難堪的事。謝天謝地。

Boo-Lii

Went to watch Puteri Gunung Ledang : The Musical with Shinji and Kristen just now. This is actually my second time watching it. To be honest, i think that it is getting better and better as compared to the one i watched 3 years ago. Lots of additional elements and new music arrangements. Not going to elaborate on the musical ( cos you can check out the reviews from those the medias ), but i'm glad that both of them liked the show.


好啦，入正題。
記得三年前到意大利旅行時，發生了件好玩的事。那些鬼仔一看到我們幾個黃皮膚走在一起，就開是亂叫boo-lii, boo-lii。剛開始我們還有點blurr。過後才發現原來他們在叫我們Bruce Lee。因為有點不耐煩，於是我的朋友就喊回去 ：

Bruce 你老母！！！一D知識都無。人地明明係Puteri Gunung Ledang來geh麻。

What is the greatest love story that you ever watched or heard?

Apparently there's this friend of mine who is obsessed with the story of 帝女花。He said that the story is really touching and the song is just nice. By the way, he is same age as me. Can you imagine going out with him, and him humming the song all the time? At some point, i really felt like shutting him up, OR make myself deaf. ( 毒啞他或撞聾我自己 ）

But at the end of the day, i think it's just another personal preference. And i should respect his choice. He likes CLASSIC love and i like MODERN love.

She's BACK !!!

For the record, i am not a fans of SURPRISES. Cos i am not very good in responding, especially if i'm in shock.

Went for lunch today with KK at The Gardens. Half way eating, i noticed that there's a woman ( ok lah, young lady ) standing next to my table and was staring at us, me. So i looked at her. OMG!!!! It's Win-ni, my beloved Biaomei!!! She is back from London. I was so happy and gave her a hug. And i was totally blank for few minutes cos too shock to see her.

Then only i found out that it was actually her plan to 'pakat' with KK to give me this surprise. Tak sangka busy people like him will help her with this. Long story short, i am very happy to see Win-ni, and thanks to KK for making this happened. It's definitely one of the best gift in 2009 so far. ( hahaha, it's only the 8th day of 2009 )

That Indian man is our Chief Finance Controller ( the one who approve our budget ). So die-die have to put him in the show. I did appear in the last clip ~ as the backstage coordinator ( the one in black t-shirt )
And please forgive my friend/cameraman. You can tell from the shaky clips that he was very excited. LOL

Found this clip while reorganizing my old files. The clip was made few years back. Those were my friends/ex-colleagues. The performance is for the Staff Performance Contest for their Annual Dinner ( again, but for another company ), themed FASHIONISTA. We got 3rd place .

I know it's always fun to watch your friends performing on stage. But it is funnier to see them behind the stage. So, i'm going show you how awkward, funny and blurr they were. It was recorded at my house as i was the choreographer for the show. The whole thing is quite DRY, without lightings and costume. Enjoy :)

昨天和ＫＫ在Mid Valley lunch後，遇見文康。他說剛剛在Starbucks訪問完蕭敬騰。我的偶像﹣蕭敬騰喔！我聽完就一枝箭醬飆去Starbucks找找看。看到了！err....真人跟上鏡還真的不太像。不會很高，瞞瘦的，樣子普通，但粉很厚。不好意思，照片很矇因為緊張手抖（證明了我不適合做狗仔）。但如果在香港，已經可已大費周張了。蕭敬騰和助手on the way去廁所。

It happened in one of my company annual dinner, where everyone have to dress up according to the theme - Fairytale.

So my female manager ( Bobbie ) came in with her full Kung Fu suit. People were a bit puzzled with her look. So, someone asked her :


“妳今天扮誰？花木蘭嗎？”
( What are you dear? Mulan? )


“ 不是，我是花木蘭的表姐。”
( Oh no, i am Mulan's cousin sister. )


”那妳是？”
( So you are? )

Something About ~ F.F.K.

I was supposed to meet up my friend this afternoon. But she FFK last minute. I waited for her for more than 50 minutes. And when i called, she did not answer the phone. So i decided to go back after the long wait. On my way back, i turned on the radio, just to listen to some nice songs to destress. MANA TAHU.....

I first listen to 988, they were playing Joey Yung's 我的驕敖 ( My Pride ).....

" see me FLY..i'm proud to FLY up high...."

No mood, then i switched to My Fm, even worse..cos they were playing Janice's 今夜你不會來.....

Ya...what a nice song for someone who is just being FFKed by others...

From now on...

It was a good day for me..till just now.

I called my friend to inform her that there are certain things that she did was not correct. At least i felt so. I told her that cos we are close and i know that i am better than her in that part. But what did i get in return ?

She raised her voice at me saying that she know what is going on. And she is very sure that she did the thing correctly. So i kept quiet. We did not argue but i won't say that it was a good conversation. Honestly i am a bit disappointed, cos this is not the first time. Normally when she need some advise in that matter, she will check with me. And now she just treat me like an used info-counter.

Sometimes i wonder if i am should stop sharing or taking care of her, since she is now GROWN UP.

Ah... what the f*ck !
From now on..U 'LUM' U . I will just take care of my own things.

There is 1 thing that i am famous for in RS ~ I've been to their annual dinner 6 times. And i won Best Dressed 4 times. Glamour-nya aku...

2002 - Night of Glamour ( as MYSELF ;p )
2003 - Bolloywood Night ( as the Creative Director of Vogue India - lol )
2005 - 70's Night ( forgot to bring camera )

2006 - Around the World ( as the Guest of Honour for Fashionista Africana ;p )

2) My 1st time overseas holiday for so long - 3 weeks
Really an eye opening trip...learn a lot of things about other people's culture..good and bad...but at the end of the trip...i came up with 1 conclusion ... MALAYSIA is still the best ;)

- change job again ...now with Melium Group, doing VM for those international designer brands ( Hugo Boss, Aigner, Zegna, etc. )
- the most exciting and tiring job for me...but i guess i enjoyed it very much..the enviroment & the colleagues
- went to Singapore, Hong Kong & Bali ( Indonesia )

BIG MOUTH talk :
1) It was the launch party for Hugo Boss @ AvenueK. Saw lots of celebs..but most of all ~ PAULA ABDUL, DAVID BLAINE, DEVON AOKI and BAI LING. No picture cos too crowded and kan chiong..but aku sumpah, i saw them !!!

2) Did the annual dinner decor..themed "Fairytale"..dressed in 'Emperor's New Cloth"( refer to Biaokho-Biaomei )

3) Bali was fun. Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel.





2005 ( 28 years old )
- back to RS ( damn! i am not a good horse ;p )
- went to Shenzen ( China ), Macau & Hong Kong

1) I was really lucky to be interviewed by a reporter from China Press regarding my job and my experience. And they published it on Christmas Day...3 full colored page le..banyak untung lo..

2) I was in HK during the grand opening of HK Disneyland. Nothing special. and some pics in Macau..



3) Went to watch Jacky Cheung's Musical - Snow.Wolf.Lake.Most expensive show ticket ever bought. Was really excited. But disappointed cos it was not up to my expectation and imagination. Maybe it's in Mandarin and in KL.

Same old, same old

Went to dinner with Mika, Sheali and Hayden just now.They brought me to a place that i missed so much ~ the famous "look-look' stall in Klang. Once i reached there, i can see that most of the things are still the same. Same uncle, same mini fork, same wall color.....I think the last time i went there was at least 10 years ago, when i was still in secondary school. What a great feeling, to revisit some place that means something to you ;)

First time eat authentic Indonesian Nasi Padang...it's really a food feast..a table full of dishes...just choose what you want.
Then look at the staffs ...from our new branch in Jakarta..( keep my mouth shut ;p )
