a) someone who is not very good in English but trying his / her best, ending up speaking broken English, OR
b) someone who speaks good English but likes to add in some foreign slang in it.
Me? Definitely B.. cos i hate FAKERS !!!

ReplyDeleteThat you think it's bad? I have to put up with my friend who speaks ah-beng English, with American pronunciation and with British slang!! What's worst is that he thinks that is his best asset. Haih!!! how lah to tell this kind of people that they are directly embarrassing them self and indirectly embarrassing the people who are sitting with him. Anyway anything fake is bound to be hated.

ReplyDeleteYou know what, I actually admire (A) type. As for (B) type, I used to be that type but it's cuz i spent 6 years abroad as a kid and went to an international school, i came back to malaysia aged 13 and yeah, i had an accent and was pretty much bullied by my classmates and teachers :-(
