延續之前的entry....
Is it safe for me to say that most ( NOT ALL ) of the Chinese people are money minded? Cos if you listen to the Chinese New Year songs, most of them are money related. Earn more money la, get more gold la, kena Mah Piau la, stay big house la.....
What will happen if we apply the MATERIALISTIC element in the Christmas songs?
Twelve Days of Christmas ( 發大財version ) :
On the Twelfth day of Christmas my true love sent to me...
12 MAHPIAU striking
11 SERVANTS a-serving
10 財神 a-leaping
9 MISTRESSES dancing
8 CHILDREN a-milking
7 KOI a-swimming
6 BENZ a-lining
5 GOLDEN rings
4 SWAROSKI birds
3 French BUNGALOW
2 DIAMOND dove
and a partridge in a MONEY tree.
頓時整首歌變得有沒有很沒人情味,很現實?
