crappy movie ( 屎片 )

I was busy flipping the files at m favorite DVD shop when an uncle ( in his 40's ) came and stand next to me. He then asked the staff :

Uncle : Boss, got what new movie?

Staff : This one is new. ( some sci-fi movie, forgot the title )

Uncle : Not interested la.

Staff : This one also new. ( a HK horror movie )

Uncle : Don't want la. I scared of ghost.

Staff : What about this "The Social Network" ?

( I heard that and asked the staff to take one for me. Although i don't do FB but i'm still very interested on the whole process of creating it. ;p )

Staff : ( Talking to the uncle ) Sir you see, this sir also like this movie. It's very nice one. You ask him lah.

Uncle : ( Talking to me ) What is the story ahh?

Me : Err, it's the story of the creator of Facebook.

Uncle : Facebook ahh? Nice or not?

Me : Should be lah. It's more like a true story.

Uncle : Sure or not? Later not nice lerr?

Me : ( Smiled and turned away. But in my heart i replied : " GO DIE-lah, buy 1 DVD also so many aci-aco. ;p )

But i think i know his feeling, cos i was 'conned/ or recommended' to buy some really crappy movie a few times too. The latest CRAPPY movie that i bought was PCK: The Movie. Macam hantu aje. Luckily i was only watching the DVD at home. My friend watched it in the cinema and non stop cursing throughout the whole movie. LOL.;p

What is the latest movie that made you curse and swear, like a really lousy movie?

Just did a trial dance class at a Yoga centre. After my class, i went to the counter to discuss on the feedback with the owner. Meanwhile, the yoga class is taking place in the studio.

We discussed on my teaching style and some comments from the members. Suddenly i heard the yoga instructor said ...

" Let's concentrate and start warm up .......................................
F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F F ......"

The whole class was shouting "F", which i was told that's the way the exercise the breathing. Call me 'sua ku' or no manners" but i just can't concentrate on the discussion anymore. I was trying very hard to hold my laugh cos the "F-ing" thing is really hilarious to me. Of all alphabets or words, why "F"?

Any yoga people here can explain why?


Maybe i should create my own warm up style in my class huh?

As posted earlier, someone from the gym thought that i am from Penang. Cos she said my English got a bit of Penang Hokkien slang. OK, i know my England is too powderful for her to handle. ;p

I was late for the rehearsal. I apologized to everyone and told them the reason. Then everyone looked at me, blurr... and one of the girl asked :

" Why your car got 'si ham' ? "

" What? What 'si ham' ? "

Then instantly i realized why she asked me that. Cos i told them :

" Sorry i am late, my car got 'clam' ( clamped ~ with Hokkien slang ;p )

When other people helped you on something, and you said you'll belanja makan next time, do you really mean it?

And when you helped other people and get the same offer/promise in return, will you really look forward for that meal?


BTW, when i tell you ' let's yamcha/meet up when free', most likely it's not going to happen. Cos i like to set my appointment directly ( time & venue ), not just saying it in general. ;p

Seriously, that's what i've been told!

A lady from some event organizer offered me a job to conduct a dance session for their event and she need to know my rate. So i told her :

Me : Normally my rate for this type of event is RMxxx per session.

Her : Wah! You so CHEAP one ahh?

Me : Err .. hahaha ( not sure if i should be happy or not )
You can always give me more if you have more budget.

Her : I tell you what. Send me a quotation and put RMxxx as your charges.

Me : OK, SURE!! :)

Apparently, she just double up my normal rate, which is great.
And i'm so glad that i didn't simply raise my rate just bcoz they are a big company.;p

This is not the first time being called CHEAP ( in many ways lah ;p ), but this is definitely a great and happy one.
So do you think you are CHEAP? ;p

dolphin hunting ...

I am desperately looking for floats in the shape of dolphin or whale or any form of a fish for my coming project. It seems a bit difficult to find these floats in KL. Whenever i ask people on where to get it, most of them gave replied with the same answer :

" Go PD lah. "

I am seriously thinking of going to PD, just to get the floats. Is it too OVER?

Do you know if they are selling those floats near your place? Can help me look see look see a bit? I need 4 pcs.

It's public holiday.

The only agenda for me today is Fly FM's final rehearsal. Came back immediately after the rehearsal. Sitting in front of the tv and rest. Suddenly i felt so insecure. In fact, very insecure, unproductive and helpless. Cos i've been super busy for the fast few weeks, and a sudden 'free' day is TOTALLY OVERWHELMING.

Gosh, i think i am used to the hectic lifestyle. Am i SICK?

越聽越火滾！

Finally got some time to visit the Chinese sensei for a traditional massage ( 推拿 ) after a month. Everything is the same, except the music.

For the past few sessions, he played those slow chinese pop songs ... which is quite relaxing to listen to. But this time, he changed it to some genre that i totally HATE IT ~ the so-called crystal music ( 水晶音樂 ). Something that SUPPOSE to calm you down. But obviously it's not working on me. ;(

FYI, i listen to all type of musics. From r&b, to pop, to orchestra and even heavy metal rock. But i just can't listen to the crystal music. Not sure why. Every time i listen to it, i'll feel very mang-zhang.

Do you think that the calming element of crystal music is working on you?

Went to a friend's wedding dinner 2 weeks ago. A standard wedding dinner with grand entrance, cake cutting, champagne pouring and of cos the YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM SENGing.

So when the bride and groom came to our table, me and Sherry were a bit hesitated to shout our lung out for the toasting.

Me .. cos my voice will 'pecah' if i shout too loud or too high note. ( sweat )

Her .. cos the cameraman was standing right in front of us. She doesn't want to be captured with her mouth widely opened. ( double sweat ;p )


So you think which one is more memalukan huh?
Shout until suara pecah like madman or got captured with mouth open wide wide?
