battle of the fruits

I went in the lift, almost vomited. WTF!! What smell is that? I have to hold my breathe for 8 floors. Once the door open, i rushed out immediately for some fresh air. Then only i found out that someone brought in jackfruit ( cempedak / nangka ) in the lift before i went in. Yucks !!

Some say durian is smelly. But i think cempedak / nangka is even worst.
What do you think?


還有什麼水果的氣味比榴槤或 cempedak / nangka 來得嗆鼻嗎？

    我不觉得菠萝蜜难闻。反而比较不喜欢榴莲味，虽然我也吃榴莲，不过少吃，因为会口臭。

    ant .. i love the smell too.. but just not in the lift.. just too difficult to breath...;p

    bong .. sometimes lah.. cos when i pass by those jackfruit stall.. i will cover my nose..;(

    guini looks like mango, but not mango.

    Makes me want to eat nangka now. There is another fruit I call 'dalap' I don't think have at peninsular malaysia. Very nice. Maybe it is smelly to you too. hahaha

    I love durian candy. But I can't stand the smell. And the fruit itself, once taken out of the skin, kinda reminds me of an aborted fetus.

    nangka is heavenly nice fruit! cempedak too sweet for my liking. but if it's fried, it's nice :)

    Terap as pronounced as "talap" is fruit in Sabah. That one got very strong smell, and very sweet too, also don't really like it. :P

    cempedak/nangka is 菠蘿蜜 in chinese.. but i like how the HK people call it as 大樹菠蘿, haha, very cute~~ :p

    legolas .. me too.. just can't stand the smell trapped in the lift... ;(

    fickle .. err.. i actually like the fruit by itself.. not mixed with other stuff
