Another fantastic dream of mine.

I was standing on the stage ( the place where i was born to be ;p ), facing thousands of audience. Then a guy in tuxedo came to me and put me in a coffin-like box. Lights dimmed, spotlights on me ( ahh totally my moment ;p ) and that guy started to saw my body. Normally they use a sexy lady for this type of act ( maksudnya, i am kinda sexy as well la ...lol ;p ) Within seconds, tadaa .. my body was separated into half. And i woke up ...;(

Hmm .. if i can change one of the part of my body, it would be the upper part. Cos i want broader shoulder, flatter abs and bigger arms ... chest area still acceptable la ;p
Although my legs are short and my hip is not that full, but i think i have quite nice calves and very-the-high-voltage-motorized-shake-able-bontot ... hahahaa ;p

I arrived early at the gym. So i went merayau hat the mall ( it's in Mines, btw ). Saw a foot reflexology centre. Thought it might be good to get a foot massage since i got 1.5 hours to kill. ( and my kaki memang selalu sakit ).

I opened the door, went to the counter and was greeted by a lady .. a Tanah Besar lady (:P) .. Opps. Got a strange feeling. Told her the package i wanted and followed her in. Then only i realized that all masseurs there are from her country. And majority the customers there are middle aged male or old uncles... Damn.

Since i don't plan to make friend with my female masseur, i pun eavesdropping at other people conversation la.

Female Masseur : You came alone? Where's your wife?

Uncle : Aiyo, i'm so fat and ugly ( memang pun ;p), where got people want me wor?

Female Masseur : Don't say like that. I think you are the best looking guy here. ( Oooi... lady .. you blind issit? Can't see me issit? ;p )

Uncle : Haha .. you always say that to other people?

Female Masseur : No la. I'm telling the truth.

Me : ( trying to hold my vomit ;p )


Conclusion :
The massage was ok ( despite her kept asking me to extend another hour ). But the conversation between the masseurs and uncles was more worth the money. Hahaha..

I saw this 'scene' few times in the locker room. Guys came out from shower, put on their undie and pants. Then they took out they hair products and started to fix their hair ... topless. 10 mins ( or sometimes more, depending on the hairstyle ) later, they put on their t-shirt and messed up the hairdo while wearing it. And they do the hair all over again. Just one word : WHYlah?

I can understand if they are wearing shirt, but t-shirt? Why can't they wear the top before doing the hair? Do you think that this case falls under 'common sense'?

I was setting up a display in a mall. Suddenly i saw a guy came towards my direction. It was 'me'. Then 'me' walked in the boutique and started a fight with me. We fought a bit, then dragged each other to the window and continued fighting. Of all places why we went in a window kan? It's bcoz we are both ..

There's this Middle Eastern woman who is a regular in my class but was MIA for a few week. When i saw her today, i asked her where have she been.

So she started to explain to me ( in her a bit hard to understand English ) what happened to her health ( FYI, she is a very friendly person ), how her hormones go up and down, how she is coping with the menopause ... She told me so many and at the end, i just told her..

"If you feel tired in the middle of the class, just go one corner and rest."

But i think my respond was a bit cold.
Can anyone give me some advise on how or what should i say to them when i'm facing the same scenario next time? ( cos 80% of my members are female. :P )

me counting ..

After the class, i went to do some weights cos i was in a good mood. ( padahal, dah gemuk. terpaksa exercise more ;p ). Put on my ear piece, blasted the music on my iPod and started with the sit up. I counted in my heart the number of crunches. After a while, i stopped. I just realized that i was actually counting it out loud instead of counting it silently ( cos i was listening to the iPod ;p ). And the best thing is ..

... i was counting in Hokkian.... hahahaahahahah ;p

So the tak sesuai dengan kevogiuan ku kan? lol.

FYI, i am a Hakka, but grew up in Klang. So we speak Hokkian at home most of the time. So it's kinda like my mother tongue. So when i have to count or think of something, subconsciously .. Hokkian will automatically come in. :)

Went for grocery shopping just now. Saw a few company setting up the kiosk for their moon cakes. Beraneka jenis dan rasa dengan packaging yang berwarna-warni. I always like to check out their packaging specially from a few company, cos they really put in a lot of effort to attract the old and young buyers. But something that i don't like is how they 'introduce' new flavor every year. Cendol moon cake, cempedak moon cake, sambal moon cake, etc. WTF? I am a sambal lover, but this is just too much.

I still prefer the original lotus paste moon cake .. with yolk. :)

There's this girl in my class who have long permed hair. Every time she dance, her hair will stick on her face due to the sweat. At one time i swear i see her hair sticking at her lips ( as if she is eating her own hair ).

Being a slightly OCDed person, i have to hold myself from telling her to tidy up her hair. Cos it's so messy. For those who have or admire long hair ... do you think that it's sexy to have your hair sticking on your face? Be it male or female.

I got one weird habit. I like to smell things.. even when i know the smell might not be good. Like a sweaty person, worn shoes, rubbish dump, etc. But i think it's still at a controllable level la.

By the way, just out of curiosity, when someone farted, we normally will cover our nose and go as far as possible from the scene .. right? But when we fart ( especially during production in toilet ), why are we okay with the smell?
Or maybe some of you did cover your nose when you yourself farted? LOL ;p

I was at the gym's toilet washing my water bottle. There's 3 cubicles in the toilet, 2 occupied. Then came this Indian guy, went in the 3rd cubicle. He slammed the door while closing it, causing a big BANG.
The best thing is, i think the guy in the 2nd cubicle got shocked with the big bang and scream a bit. It's so funny to imagine a guy trying to close his big deal peacefully, and then BANG! Dunno the 'product' got affected or not. LOL ;p

I absolutely hate people slamming doors. But i got 1 very bad habit ~ i like to slam fridge door. ;p

Got another weird dream last night.

I was teaching a class in a stadium ( kelas gitew, ajar menari sampai gi stadium ;p ). So many people there. I looked at my watch, it's show time. So i reached in my pocket to get my iPod to play the music. I took out my 'iPod' ( which is in the form of a stone pebble ). But then, i can't find the play button. In fact, there's no button at all .. but i know that's my iPod! I got worried. People are leaving !!!!!
What a dream huh? ;p

Maybe i should start create some gadgets or decor thing using stone huh?

I might not be a very friendly or nice to everybody, but i think i'm quite a good instructor. Cos i know what song and when to play it in the class.

I know everybody reacts differently when a certain song is being played. When i see lots of youngster in the class, i'll choose to play songs from Justin Bieber or  LMFAO as warm up song. If more regular people, maybe some Rihanna or Nicki Minaj. And then, of cos we have Lady Gaga or Beyonce's songs if i see, you know.. some divas in my class. ;p

You'll see how their face changes or react once they heard the songs.

Currently i'm  a super die hard for MUSICALs!!!!!! Ever since my project for musicals last month, i can't help but kept searching for musical clips online. Admiring the choreographies, the costumes, the stories and all the small little details of the show. :)

I would definitely love to watch more musicals ( i mean good ones ;p ). But so far i've only watched Chicago, Wicked & The Lion King ( all in London ), Mamma Mia & Puteri Gunung Ledang ( at Istana Budaya ). And i watched PGL 3 times !!! Cos it's really that good. Can't wait for the 4th season, but heard that Tiara Jacquelina is not going to be in it anymore . :(

big girl.

I was makaning at the kopitiam when 2 slim girl ( working in slimming centre, based on their uniform ) came in and sat at the table next to mine. While waiting for their food to arrive, they started to chat/bitch ( quite loud ) about on of their client.

" That fat lady so difficult to treat la. So fat, and so many question.... " And they kept referring that client of their as ' sei fei poh ' ( damn fat woman ).

The funny thing is, there's actually a fat lady sitting alone next to their table. I wonder what is her feeling every time she heard the word ' sei fei poh '? lol ;p

I know it's always good to include people's name in a conversation to show that we actually acknowledge the person. And also a very good way to remember the name. But sometimes i think it's just too much for me ...

Before the class, i talked to a makcik ...

Her : Danny, so u ajar class full time ke?

Me : Takde la. Part time je. I ada keje sendiri.

Her : Oh ye? So Danny keje apa? Boss sendiri ye Danny?

Me : Boss apa? Keje sorang je.

I started to feel regret talking to her. I never been annoyed the name "Danny" till then. ;p

Passed by TGIF at 1U. A group of waiters/waitresses was doing the birthday stomp thing and a girl was standing up on the chair ( poor girl ). Then i saw the cake. Ooohhhh 21 years old rupa -rupa nyerr.. Wow.. my 21st was about 14 years ago.

I still remember how i celebrated my 21st birthday... 1st clubbing experience. Danced like no tomorrow. LOL.

How you celebrated ( or plan to celebrate ) your 21st birthday?

Ahhh.. being 21 years old is really nice. But me now ( 35 years old ) is even more great. :)

I have to admit that i do not know lots of things .. especially those with lots of facts and need to use the brain .. like a lot. But it doesn't mean that i'm stupid ... right? ;p

When friends said that i'm 'stupid' in certain things .. my standard reply to them is ..

Was out with a friend for lunch at the ever happening place .. Pavilion. During the lunch, he kept mentioning how we are getting older. How we ( he is few years older than me ;p ) looked so old sitting in the cafe full of young people. After listened to his mumbling and complaints about this old and that old .. i can't take it anymore.

Him : Yerr... look there. Why they all so young?

Me : We are not that old also what.

Him : No la. Sitting in a room full with them just makes me feel so old. How la? How to make us feel young again huh?

Me : ( can't hold my bitchiness anymore... )
Wanna feel young issit? Don't come here la. Next time we go hang out at old folks home. Sure you'll feel young. Maybe 20 years younger. ;p

I got a call from the gym's management, it's my second official complaint from the members.

Apparently, the complain is from 2 ladies ( from Tanah Besar ;p ) who join my dance class. According to them, they are not happy with how i conduct the class. And guess what is the main reason? ...

" Cos i did not use Chinese ( Mandarin ) while conducting the class. "

WTF?!

Why can't they just try to follow the movement like everyone? Some of the Middle Eastern or other aunties also don't understand English, but they never complain. They followed the steps and enjoyed the dance. Or they'll just raise their hand and ask me to repeat the step .. slowly. I don't mind doing that.

Luckily the management understand the situation, and asked me just ignore them. ;p

If i see them next time, i'll conduct the class in BM. See how many words they understand... Nah rasakan kebitchyan yang sebenar. ;p

If really want to complain, i think i'll be the first one to complain about them. Cos they were really noisy and disturbing in the class. You know how loud when they talk la, macam nak cari gaduh aje. My vogiu dance oso drop level, thanks to them. ;p

FYI, there's a lot of Middle Eastern staying at Serdang and Seri Kembangan area ( dunno why ) . I teached in 2 fitness centre in that area, so there's quite a number of Middle Eastern who join my class.

Normally before i start the class, i'll introduce myself and ask if there's any first timer or beginner. So that i can explain to them he format of the class, what to take note, etc. I saw a young Middle Eastern lady raised her hand. I looked at her, she's not first timer la. Cos i'm very sure she joined my class last week.  Then after the class,  i asked the other regulars. They said :

" She's new la. Last week was another Middle Eastern lady. "

Now i know why those Mat Sallehs thought that all Chinese looks the same, as long as they got mata sepet. And to me, all dark curly hair, big eyes with thick eyeliner, pointy nose, sharp feature are .. well.. Middle Eastern . LOL ;p

Believe it or not? I was once called Bruce Lee by a bunch of kids when i was in Rome. Sigh. ;p

I need to refill the water for my car's wiper ( for the 1st time after driving it for 3 years? ;p ). So i asked my friend on where and how to do it ( since i'm a total idiot on cars.. and other stuffs...lol ;p ). Then he opened up the bonnet, and show me the container. Then i asked ..

" Just refill issit? Any water also can rite? " ( i was thinking if i should use tab water, or filtered water or even battery water ;p )

He paused for 2 seconds, then turned to me, looking very serious and answered ..

" Err.. i think you better just use plain water la... "

I looked at him, rolled my eyes ...

" Of cos plain water la. You think i really so stupid to refill with kopi-o or orange juice issit? " ;p

the girl who destroyed breakfast.

Went for lunch with Yasmin, Winni and another friend last week. And this is Yasmin's story ...

 She went for breakfast with another friend at a kopitiam. Since it's full house, so they shared a table with a woman and a little girl. As usual, they chat while enjoying the food. And suddenly, the little girl said ..

" Cannot talk while eating. "

Errr .. they looked at each other and stopped talking, just concentrate on eating. And you know how we like to share food with each other, and again, the girl said ..

" Cannot take people's food. "

The breakfast is getting more and more stressful for both of them. No talking, can't share food. ;(
Then when the mother and little girl about to leave, the mother tried to be nice ( maybe in a way to apologize ) to them by asking the girl to tell them walk she is going ..

" Tell korkor and cheche where are we going. "
" We are going for shopping later . "

Then Yasmin and her friend went all Miss Congeniality by replying the little girl ..

" Oh really? Good." ( with a smile )

After listening to her story, me and Winni ( who think and act alike ) laughed at their response. Cos both of us will say to that girl ..

Me : Who cares? ( roll eyes if necessary )
Winni : So? ( no need any face expression )

Now you know who is the bitchier one in our group huh? LOL ;p

Laurie : That's so nice, cos my boyfriend just go 1-2-3-4-5~ .. BAAAAMMMMM!!! and sometimes he ended it with a fart. ( i laughed so hard on this ;p )

When i shop for clothes, i will always imagine how can i wear it. Do i have any top or bottom in my wardrobe that can be worn together? If yes, then only i'll consider the rest.

c) as long as you have the top/bottom that matches

But horr... when it comes to shoes... i just have 2 words :

I was at 1U doing my window display, when i saw a mother and her 2 teenage girls passed by. The 2 girls were wearing something trendy and casual, suitable for their age and look. Then the mom .. a Hello Kitty short dress! Err.. Isn't it slightly too young for her?

Is there any cartoon/animation character that you like to put on and totally pulling them off?
For me, i think i like to stick with the classic .. i.e.. Mickey Mouse or something from the same group... Astro Boy and Angry Bird is just TOO YOUNG for me. ;p

Went to the appreciation dinner of my clients company last nite. They placed all the choreographers from different team at the same table. So being us, we viewed the performance videos and shared some thoughts and comments. When they saw my team's performance, some of them told me that they liked what i did, some of the ideas and execution. I looked at them and felt incredibly uncomfortable.

FYI, i don't really like getting compliments, unless i personally think that i deserve it. Maybe i don't have faith in myself, or my self confidence is too low. I always compare myself with others, and looking down to myself. But after last nite's conversation, maybe i am too harsh on myself. Maybe " diriku memang ( ada ) berharga" . LOL ;p

"You is kind, you is smart, you is important." A very wise and meaningful quote from The Help that i like very much. I will be saying that to myself at the mirror every morning from now on. You should too. ;)

class of 1959.

I've been super busy with projects for the past few weeks. Today is my only 'off' day as i will start to do the Raya display starting tomorrow. ( can't complain, better than no job :p )

Finally, the show project is over, and the result? Hmm .. we got consolation prize. But i heard that there's people felt that we actually deserve a better position .. Top 3 ( err.. me think so ). We didn't won the heart of the judges, but we got supports from the audiences ( that's the biggest consolation for getting a consolation prize ;p ) 

Good job to the whole team .. for the non stop practise since end of May. They really worked hard, and sometimes kena from me buta-buta. LOL. And good job to me as well for pushing myself to another level. I think we all agree that this performance is definitely better than last year. ( FYI, i've been sick and having insomnia for the past few days stressing on it ).

But think we all had fun, and hope to do it again next year ( if they decided to use we again la ;p )

By the by, remember the 'jinx' thing from the previous post? Yup, we got everything that is scary for all the people in showbiz. Half way thru the rehearsal, 1 person resigned. Then another guy hurt his back ( can't even get up from bed, mc for days ) followed by shoulder pain, pulled ligament and ankle pain by otehrs. Closer to the showday, some started to get sick ( including me ). That's not it. 3 days before actual show date, the father of the LEAD ACTOR got admitted to hospital and he have to go back to his hometown. Then costume supplier gave us a SHOCK last minute with their 'design'. And the last day of venue rehearsal, someone's cat got sick, can't attend. You say la, stress or not? But it's all over now, and i enjoyed every bit of it. :)

Siapa punya company nak buat staff performance/ competition for annual dinner? CALL ME. :)

There's this girl that i work with. One day, i saw her with a new hairstyle, slightly different from how she do her hair everyday. With the bling-bling hair clips.

Me : Ooh, new hairstyle huh?
( out of courtesy, i told her that her new look is nice. cos it's very rude to notice that and didn't say anything about it ;p padahal, doesn't suit her at all. and she look 'lian' with the new look )

Then, she came to work with that 'lian' look for 2 weeks now. Every time i see her, i have to control myself not to tell her the truth. You think i should?

I have a habit of checking my wallet every morning. I need to make sure that i have at least RM200 cash in the wallet for me to go out feeling secured.
What is the minimum amount of cash you MUST have in your wallet?

Talking about minimum, my aunt got 2 dogs. The 1st dog is Max, second is Min. When i asked her why Min? ( cos "Max" is a "name", but not "Min".. her answer was 1st one is Max(imum) .. so second one is Min(imum) lor. No reason. lol ;p

Ever wonder why some people ( definitely not me. cos i think it's rude ) like to call the Indians ~ 'KELING'?  So far i only got 2 explanations from 2 non-Indian friends :

Friend 1 :
There were a lot of Indian slaves years ago, and they were chained to the metal chain. So when they move, the banging chain will create the 'kling-klang'( keling ) sound.

Friend 2 :
It's from their culture ! classical Indian dance where dancers wear lots of wrist and ankle bell to create the 'kling-klang' ( keeling ) sound when they dance.

Anybody knows any other or the actual story of the name?

Try not to call them that name, cos it's not nice. Just like how the westerners call us Chinese " ching-chong-ching-chong' . :(

My friend got to know this girl from a website. They have been texting each other every night for 3 weeks. And based on their conversation, it seems they are comfortable with each other.. quite serasi la konon. They have never met each other but did exchanged contact number. The problem is, this girl refused to chat on the phone with my friend. So my friend is trying to figure out what is the real reason of her not wanting to talk.

Me : Maybe she is not single lerr? Maybe she is married?

Him : I asked her, she said she is single. I trust her.

Me : Did you ask her if that is her latest photo in the profile? Maybe she is now a totally different lerr?

Him : I did, and she said that is her recent pics.

Me : I know i know, maybe she got very strange voice lerr? Maybe very deep like a man... or extremely high like chipmunks lerr? Haha..

Him : I thought of that as well. But i don't think that's the real reason.

Me : Hmm .... what if .... she is mute!?

Him : ( looked at me, speechless )

Leave it to me to create drama on anything. LOL ( syok sendiri ;p )

Seriously, can you guys think of any other reason why she doesn't want to talk?

sleeping beauty.

It's Sunday, sleep late ( at least till 10am ). Then shower and head back to Klang. That's what i thought will be, when i went to bed last night.

Then came Sunday morning, i opened my eyes .. ahh .. just 8.03am. 2 more hours to go. 8.30am .. 8.45am .. 9.12am .. i just can't continue the sleep. Maybe i'm already used to the new daily routine, which requires me to wake up at 8.30am, then go for the rehearsal at 9.30am.

I always envy those who can wake up late .. real late .. like 3pm the next day late. :p

I think i tried waking up after noon before, and ended up with a massive headache. :(

I like to sit down in front of the tv 15 minutes before going to bed. This is to 'relax' my mind . ( But normally end up dreaming about things that i jut saw . lol ;p )

Went dinner at 1U last night. Reached there early, so decided to do some destress therapy ( shopping la, apa lagi? ;p ) while waiting. Walked and walked. The more i shopped, the angrier i got. Cos i dunno what to buy OR have nothing to buy. At the end, i didn't buy anything. Geramnyer! Thought can destress, now i lagi stressed!

What is at the top of your 'to buy' list?
I mean things that can be bought in a shopping mall. :)

It happened when i was in college.

I was supposed to get my passport done, but just realized the night before that i forgot to take photo for it. So the next morning, i woke up early and waited for the photo studio to open. Did the photoshoot and express printing lagi.

When the staff passed me the photos, he asked me a strange question ..

Him : You just woke up issit?

Me : Yeah. Why?

Him : No la. It's just your face...

I looked at my photo, OMG. My face was so tembam. It looked like some sponge with full water in it. Totally not vogiu at all. Luckily that passport expired years ago. Now my passport's picture is so vogiu. ;p

Do you have the same morning tembamness problem?
And it will last for how long before it disappear ( or till you are ready to be seen by others? )

Completed one my job last Saturday, and now rushing for the VM of a store opening this Friday. And of cos, the stress still carry on...

Had so many weird dreams lately. Last week with the expired food dream. Yesterday, i got another dream which is scary for me ... SPM dream. If it's BM, English or art paper, then i'm still ok. But it was one of my weakest subject Modern Maths ( actually i'm also weak in Sejarah, Add Maths, Kimia, Biologi & Fizik lah ;p ). I looked at the questions and totally shocked. So many signs that i don't understand.

Was doing an event last night. I'm training a group of staffs for an opening gambit for the annual dinner. Minutes before the big opening, we were all busy doing final touch up backstage.

Then we heard the emcee announcing the starting of the event ... with everyone standing up and sing the Negaraku. I was surprised, cos those people ( staffs ) at backstage ( where nobody can see us )  actually stood still when the song was played. So the patriotic! Then they sang the company's song. And the staffs continued singing and clapping to the song. I was the odd one running up and down ( not standing still like everyone else ;p ) adding stuffs on the performers. The evil in me even tried to tease the staffs so that they move with me. LOL

Honestly, what will you do when you hear the national song?
Stop or carry on with whatever you are doing?
