Finally received my 1st cheque ( yeah, waiting for the 2nd one as well ;p ) from winning the FlyFM's contest few months back. ( Yay! ) But when i look at it closely, DAMN! there's error on my name. Personally i think it was an unacceptable error lor.. I mean guys, do you know how to pronounce the word

" FHIAU "?
( Piau? Fiao? or HIAO!!?? )


I'll have to call them tomorrow to reissue the cheque. Hopefully it won't happen to my 2nd cheque. ;p

Oh by the way, my name on my instructor card also got error. And that name made me looked like Indonesian-Chinese or some Latino. LOL.


I always wonder, is it so hard to get my name correctly? Or it's just as UNFRIENDLY as the owner? LOL ;p

I was compiling some songs for my client last night. And it's for a fashion show. Easy right? Just get some upbeat vogue and cat-walky tunes. But the thing is, the guest of honor of the night would be our DPM. So everything has to be polite, friendly, or in another word - FORMAL & CORPORATE ( a.k.a. BORING )

How lah to get vogue when there's so many restriction kan? Now Lady Gaga is definitely out of the picture. Same thing goes to Beyonce, Katy Perry, Kesha, Rihanna, etc. All those RnB songs with lot of cursing, drinking, love-making rap lyrics also out! Too sexy and partyish also out! Too noisy also out! Anything politic or religion related lyrics also out!

Please help me. I need to compile and remix the songs by this weekend. Cos i need to present the song lists for their Chairman's approval by next week. Do you have any songs in mind that are vogue ( suitable for catwalk ) but still presentable to everyone, especially The ONE?


Since i am the director of the fashion show, do you think that it's ok for me to surprise them. By asking the models to do slutty pose at the finale? It's not in the guidelines anyway. LOL ;p

我有話‘想‘說

As an instructor, it's very important to encourage and acknowledge member's hard work ( during and after the class ). Sometimes i really want to communicate with them more. But due to my limited or rather powderful England, i normally end the class with the same line :

"Good job and thank you everyone. Hope you enjoyed the class. See you again next time."

It's like a routine for me already to say those lines by the end of EVERY class. I think some of my regulars also expecting that every time.

Say you are a member lah, besides the above lines, what else would you like to hear from the instructor? So that i don't have to use the same line over and over again.
( but try to make it short and easy to remember ya ;p )

I was talking to another female instructor the other day. Then suddenly i noticed something interesting on her t-shirt ( chest area ). So i took a deeper look. She realized that and shouted at me ( of cos joking lah ) :

Her : Weiii, hamsap ! Why you look at my boobs ahh? Sexy issit?

Me : Oh dun get me wrong. I thought i just saw a plane landing. Sorry to disappoint you. ;p



Just to share some funny story on workout attire with you guys.
Still remember “貼身膏藥“? So whenever she attend my class, she will make sure that she change her clothes every class. If she's joining 3 classes back-to-back, then she'll put on 3 different sets. Wether she is sweating or not, lain cerita lah. And most of them are very less-cloth/ skimpy ( ATTENTION : Less Cloth not necessary SEXY, hokay ;p ) Sometimes bareback lah, or low cut deep V. Not to mention the color combinations. ;(

After the class, i always go to the counter and talked to the girls. " I don't mean to be bitchy, but don't you think that she is a bit over?? Just make me wanna slap her more. LOL ;p "

BTW, do you think that we should have fashion police in the gym? ;p

WTF!!??

I totally gave up on them. After 'this' and 'that' incident, i finally got one more and the FINAL reason for me to stop working with them!

Few weeks ago, they commented that my music is not up to date. But when started to use the latest songs, the commented again :
" Your music is more suitable for the young people la. Maybe next time you can use those songs from the eighties."
( Hello, you are the one who asked me to UPDATE my music !!! )

Then the other day, i saw this woman ( mid 40's i think ) in the class who came to the class but didn't really dance. If this happened in the gym, normally the member is either not well or having some back or knee problem. That's why they opt for a lighter exercise. But when i asked her on her reason ( btw, she is very arrogant and not friendly, and old, and ugly, and bitchy, and always complain, and fat, and ..... ) :

Me : Why you didn't do the steps?

Her : Oh, i just don't want to get sweaty ! ( nak maintain vogue yang tak pernah wujud )

I really don't understand. Why bother join a workout class ( to get fitter and healthier ) when you are not ready to get all sweaty? And the best thing is, she always complained that my steps are too simple. Padahal, most of the time she can't follow the steps during the class! And when i see that, i will purposely speed up and create more complicated steps for them. Just to make her more miserable, and for me to enjoy watching her looking miserable and kelam-kabut. ( nikmat nyer tiada terhingga LOL ;p )

So finally, i told that woman on Friday that i will only be working with them till end of the month. Cos i know, the more i work with them, the more pekcek i will be.

There's a new intern in our company. And the girls go crazy about him, cos he is quite cute. So one of the girl dragged me to his office and ask : " Do you think that he's cute? " I only answer with 2 words : "NO CHIN", and broke all the girls' dreams. LOL

Scenario # 2 :
I was at the gym when i saw this guy. Good looking, nice body shape and quite perfect package lah konon ... how i wish i have those kind of qualities. As i was admiring him, he received a sms on his phone. When he lower his head to check on the message, ALAMAK! I finally found something that i do not wish to be like him .. DOUBLE CHIN.;p

Given a choice, you rather be someone with NO CHIN or DOUBLE CHIN?

( No offense to anyone with the above criteria ;p )

If you know me well ( or not ), you should know that i am not very good with kids. I mean i have no patient and do not have a cute way to communicate with them. And i always threaten that i will slap them if they are naughty or noisy or over active or ignore me or .....

I guess my karma is here. I am going to conduct a dance class for kids this Saturday. The management called and want me to replace the instructor just for 1 week. I have no choice but to take it, cos they just adjusted my rate. Must listen to whatever they want lo....

Still trying to figure out what to do with them. Any ideas?

Say you are working ( as a team ) with another person. And apparently this person is not very satisfied with your performance. So instead of telling you directly, she went to another tell another person. And asked that another person to tell you her feeling.

To me, i think it's still acceptable. Cos maybe she is shy to tell me directly. But what i DON'T like is ... the person who delivered her message. Of all people, she went to tell my RIVAL !!! ( both of us has been competitor since day one, and she knew it ! ).

Do you think it's too much if i curse her ( the so called teammate ) for one whole day?

It happened few years back when i was still attached with this company. There's 5 of us in the VM department sharing 2 computers. As usual, we were told to create our own password to protect our files. So we did.

Then one day, something happened to one of our computer. When the IT guy came, he asked for our password. None of us want to give him the password, cos we were too embarrass to tell. You see, we were in a 'creative' department, of cos we will use our creativity to create the password. And the password is :

I just finished my class and chatting with some of the members outside of the studio. Then one member ( late 30's che-che ) came to me :

Her : Hi Danny, this is my first time joining your class.

Me : Oh really? Thanks for trying. Did you enjoyed the class?

Her : Yes. I normally very clumsy in dancing cos i got 2 left feet. But i think i was dancing just now. Thank you very much.

Me : Wow. That's good. See you again next week?

Her : Sure. :)

Me : ( in my heart ) See me fly... i'm proud to fly up high..... :)))))

You might think that i am showing off. Well ... a bit lah. LOL
( This is my blog and i can do what i like ;p )


The moral of the story is :
Do not be afraid/stingy to acknowledge other people, if you think they did a good job. That's what i am going to do, from now on. :)

the FORMULA ...

I always feel lazy and no mood to conduct this particular class. Cos the attendance is never good enough. Some blame it to the timing ( 4pm ), and some blame it to the instructor ~ ME.

FYI, i always like to pick some nice songs and do some nice choreography for it. But at the end of the day, it seems that it's not working. So i went to check with the GX coordinator on the member's feedback on my class. Apparently, some of the members felt that my class is a bit too hard to join, due to the choreos that i did ( normally 12 x 8' per class ). So i thought maybe it's time for me to cut down the steps and replace it with simpler ones.

Ever since i simplified the choreos, the attendance has been increasing. From only 5 or 6 at the beginning to almost 20 pax per class now. I am very happy to see the progress, and i finally got the ideal FORMULA to conduct that class :

Less steps = More members


But this is only for that class lah. Cos i know, members from others classes ( which always hit the head count quota) still preferl to do all sorts of MV look-alike steps, with the Diva attitude, of cos. ;p

err... err... err...

I always envy those who can speak well, especially in English. You see, i tend to talk less when i am in a group of English speaking friends. Dunno why, just felt a bit insecure and shy. Or i'll just try to keep the conversation short, so that i won't make too many mistakes. ;p

Yesterday morning, i was listening to Fly Fm while on my way to my morning class. Since it was quite jam, so i tried to call in to join the 'Cash or Trash' segment. And below is the off-air conversation between me and the producer :

Producer : Morning, Fly FM.

Me : Morning. ( 1 word )

Producer : Who's on the line please?

Me : Danny here. ( 2 words )

Producer : Is this your first time playing the game?

Me : Yup. ( 1 word )

Producer : You sure you are dying to play the game? ( teasing me )

Me : Yeah. ( 1 word )

And when she passed me to the DJs, i think all i said was "ok"s , "yes"s and ... laugh. :( Damn kan-cheong lah .. going on air with powderful England.;p

Can't imagine what will happen if someday, i got interviewed ( as a celebrity lah konon ;p ) on air in English. Sure dead-air everywhere, kan? ;(


Oh by the way, i got the correct answer and picked the right envelope. And won myself RM100. Not bad kan? Can earn extra pocket money while stuck in the jam. ;p

I'm obsessed with ...

... ME !!!

Yup. Bong pointed this out in my previous post. I 'decorated' my house with pictures of, well .. ME. Do you think i have a self-obsessed problem? But at least that's the only place where i display myself.

I am now rushing some job for this company. I need to make some garments using eco-friendly materials. So i went to Carrefour to buy a dress ( those cheap sleepwear / lingerie ~ refer to below pic ) to be used as the base of my dress.



When i went to the cashier counter to pay, the 2 cashiers ( Malay makcik and Indian lady ) looked at me. I know, it's kinda weird for a guy to shop and buy those thing ... alone. So they asked :

Her : Untuk wife you ke?

Me : Takde lah, untuk buat baju. ( Lazy to explain to her about the project )

Her : So you ni tailor lah? Pandai nyerr. ( both of them smile to me )

In my heart i was thinking, " What will be her respond "IF" i tell her that i am actually buying that dress for MYSELF!!?? ". Do you think that she will still be impressed with me? lol ;p

There's this new guy in my class. From his look, his movement and the way he dress... i think i can sense something la..

So we were doing some Greek/belly dance moves yesterday. To help the members to get into the mood more, i asked them to feel sexy about themselves, and give me the attitude. Then i over heard this guy talking to his friend :

Guy : Eh, kita kan lelaki. Mana tahu nak buat seksi seksi, kan?

I thought maybe i was 'wrong', or he is really discreet. Mana tahu, the moment i play the song .... you should check out his facial expression !!! Over the top... kaw-kaw !!! ( 那個死騷樣!!!! )

I can't really concentrate during the class, cos busy checking and laughing ( in my heart ) at that DIVA. Well, i guess .. girls just wanna have fun, rite? ;p

Beautiful stalker

I was at Pavilion just now for my class. Since i reached early, so i went merayau-rayau lah, look see look see a bit. Then i realized that this person ( early 20's guarr ) was looking at me. I didn't really bother till i kept bumping into that person everywhere i went. So i started to feel a bit nervous. Not that i never been stalked before ( 肥妹鬼 ﹠貼身膏藥 ), but this time i was stalked by the RIGHT person. Finally. LOL.

The whole incident was just following and staring at each other, nothing much. Then i went in the gym and did my class .. with a BIG smile....:)


33 years old and still get stalked ( by the right person? ) ... i say..

the Ring

I was at Sg Wang last Saturday. While waiting for my friend for dinner, i went shop to shop .. just to update myself with the current market. So i went in this shop selling all sorts of cool stuffs, from accessories to home decorative items. Then i saw this big bowl filled with chunky rings ( i used to love them ). Bronze, gold, silver, etc. And they are cheap .. RM15 per piece only.

So i pun gatal-gatal go and try one the bronze ring with a crescent moon shape. Not bad, then i wanted to try the gold one. But i couldn't remove it. It was STUCK on my finger!!! I tried every way just to remove them. Of cos i can't used soap or my saliva ( unless i pay for them la ;p )

Finally, after 10 minutes of rubbing and pulling in and out, finally got off my finger. And of cos, i dare not try another gold one. ;p


What will you do if that happened to you? Waste 10 minutes stand there sweating and looking like idiot, OR pay RM15 and take care of them when you got home?


p/s : we didn't win the dance battle.. but the feeling of dancing on stage ( when you know people who are actually cheering FOR YOU ) is simply fantastic .. or should i say FANTABULOUS ( like how my friend used to say ;p )

This is not a real 'dance battle' but just a challenge for the DJs with the listeners ( who will be dancing for their team ). I am suppose to choreograph the steps for them. But still dunno what is the level of our team members. So i thought maybe i should just do something fun, something entertaining, and something .. me ( Vogue-lah, as usual )

The rehearsal is tomorrow night, and the battle is on the next day. Hopefully everything will be ok.

There's this instructor friend of mine, who is famous for his bitchy-mouth. He likes to call all his female friends ( and a certain group of male friends ) as "CB" ( if you know what i mean ;p ). And if you are a close friend to him, congratulations ... cos you will be UPGRADED to "CCB".

So one day, a female instructor came and complaint to me ...

Her : Eh, can ask your friend to be more polite or not? I saw him just now, and he keep calling me CCB!

Me : Next time, if he calls you that again, grab his face and put it it front of your CB. Ask him got C or not la. LOL ;p

Her : Ceh, waste my time talking to you.

Seriously, i dunno why people can be that rude. I give names to other people also lah, but never call them CB.

Ever been called or hinted as an 'OUT-DATER'?

Well, i received a phone call from a someone last Friday. She is the person in charge of her company's sports club, where i teach them cardio-dance. Apparently, a few of the members commented that the music that i used during the class is not fun enough. They wanted something more UPDATED. ( in another way, they are saying that my music selections are OUT-DATED!!! )

I was a bit shocked to hear that. Cos never in my life ( so far lah ) hearing people commented that on me. A far as i can remember, below are some song lists that i used in the previous classes :

I'm wanted to call my client - Joanne to discuss on issue. So i picked up my handphone, searched for Joanne, and call. But when the call is answered, it was not Joanne. It was another Joanne ( my friend that have not been seeing for years!!! ) I got the wrong Joanne!!!

She sounded a bit surprise to receive my call. I was also a bit panic, dunno what to do. So i pretended that i'm actually calling her just to catch up, after so many years. And we chatted about 15 mins, without telling her that she is not the one that i'm trying to call.

Nothing much in the conversation, just those normal LAME questions that you ask to a long lost friend ...

Since i came back from the trip ( or ever since i started to tan my body ), i received a lot of comments from others, especially my che-ches in the class. Some liked it tanned, more manly and healthy ( sporty ) looking worr. But some asked me to stop getting tanned, cos it makes me looked older.

How to maintain tanned and sporty, and look young at the same time?
Don't tell me to wear all colorful stuffs, not my style. Ever heard of a theory .. the older you go, the more colorful your clothing will be ;p )

" What is your plan when you are too old to teach class. What you want to do? "

I don't know. What other choices do i have?
Dance is my passion, and probably something that would like to do even when i am old. Of cos there's another option for me .. Visual Merchandising. But besides that, i really don't know what i am capable of. I am not good in communicating ... so i cannot do direct-selling or insurance stuff. I do not look friendly ... so i don't think i'll do well in retailing. I got my own attitude problem .. and a bit difficult for me to work with others. ( that's why i love my job now ... freelancing )

After attended a few gathering last week, i started to think about the future ... more. Do you know any professions that require less brain, less socializing but still can make money? I am referring to CLEAN money only. ;p

It was a long weekend. As expected, not many members will attend the Saturday's class.

So there's only 3 of us in the class. And i suddenly thought of something that i wanted to do for long long time. We did my version of Beyonce's Single Ladies. Got the member's permission to record and post it on blog.

Whenever i go pasar malam, it will be a ' die hard ' disaster for me. Cos all my diet plan will just go out of control. Too many nice foods and too little resistance. ;p

So i went to pasar malam to have my dinner just now. Once i reached, i walked to my favorite pan-mee stall. Thought that that's all that i will have. As i was walking to get my car after the pan-mee, i passed by the fried junk food stall. Hmm ... Taiwanese sausage, long time didn't eat liao. So i bought one stick, spicy one. ( yum..... ) Before reaching my car, i did stopped by a few other stalls to get something to munch. ( tongsui lah, junk food lah, ... yummy yummy )

I am having my chicken satay while writing this post.;)~

Today is a GOOD day !

Am very happy and satisfied, cos i felt really productive today. It started a bit slow, but slowly the good things flew in one by one... :)

... 1st of all, i finally managed to set a meeting with one of my important client, after being postponed for few weeks

... then, one of my 'long lost' client ( big client, fyi ) called me. they finally decided to use my service again, cos they failed to do the window display themselves ( according to the manager lah ;p.. i have to say that i am very happy cos they failed.. so salah kan? but who cares...;p )

... i supposed to dismantle a window sticker for another client at 1U, but the staff pandai-pandai go and dismantle himself last night. so i don;t need to do liao lo.. save energy ;)

... since i got extra time ( cos no need to dismantle window ), i went to McD for my favorite meal .. Double Cheese burger.. yummy :)~

... got the confirmation notice from another client. i am now officially their choreographer for the opening dance for their charity dinner ( i am really looking forward to this one )

... lastly, the attendance for the 2 classes today was better than what i expected. dance out loud and sweat a lot .. so syokkk :)

Maybe it's not as 'dramatic' as you expected, but i just so happy.

Hello gor gor ...

I have to admit that i am not good in handling kids. I just don't have that kind of patience to layan them.

I was queuing at the cashier counter to pay my bill. In front of me was a couple with a small kid ( less than 1 year old, i think ). And this little boy kept turning to look at me ... smile and wave.

1st time he did that, i smiled to him and waved my hand.
2nd time he did that, i just smiled.
After that, i just ignore him whenever he turned to me. Cos i got no more mood to layan him anymore. I just turned and look away. The bapak pun satu, kept saying " say hello to gorgor " when i already looked away. In my heart i was like :

" OK, i know you are cute and i am attractive (;p), but come on kid, move on... get a life! " ;p

I am really so the devilish kan?
Maybe i should do a movie .. 'The devil wears BATA. '
Anyone interested to invest?

Turkey Boleh ! ;p

The one thing i must say about people in Turkey ( Istanbul) is .. they are really friendly. Why? From the moment we stepped out from the airport, we were greeted by them ( mainly the kids ) with warm smile and excitement. Not sure if we were really that attractive, or they are just very excited to see some fair Asian faces like us. The kids in the school bus kept waving and smiling to us whenever our van stopped side by side. Not only that, as we were walking on the streets, little kids and their mom will come to us and ask where are we from. You really feel like a star ( at least at that moment ).

Went to se one of their traditional/religious performance .. Whirling Dervishes. This is NOT an insult, BUT i literally felt like vomiting after watching them non stop spinning. Sungguh memeningkan... But it's still a nice experience :)


There, me buying the Turkish ice cream on the shopping street. As usual, the ice cream seller will play some trick before we actually get the ice cream. And AS USUAL being ME, i just stood there with no expression ... waited for him to finish, then get my ice cream. So the tak sporting kan? LOL ;p


p/s: Those people from the tourist area were trying to act friendly to us when they knew that we are from Malaysia. So they shouted : " MALAYSIA BOLEH ... "

Visited all the famous tourist spots at Athens (including Acropolis, Hadrian Arch, Temple of Zeus, etc. ) but i'm not going to post the pictures here, cos they are easily found once you googled it. ;p

Donkey, Beach and Me

First time riding a donkey, a traditional form of transport in Santorini. We walked up the steps ( hundreds of them ) from the old port to the town centre. I felt so bad cos i can actually feel the donkey's heartbeat, and it was beating so fast... sure very tired one. Sorry donkey...; (
( FYI, if you enlarge the pic, you can see the stone road on the left pic. The brownish thing i not dried grass or sand okay? It's donkey's poo !!! This is what we call a 'SHITTY ROAD' )
