Oh My Car !

It was raining cats and dogs since noon. I was in the shower, getting ready to go out. Suddenly someone knocked my door, loud and kept knocking. So i opened the door and it was the security guard :

Him : Bos, ada pokok jatuh atas kereta you la.

Me : HUUUHHHH!!!???? ( luckily i didn't drop my towel )
Ok, ok. Nanti i turun.

I ran to the window and looked at my car. Damn, there's a bunch of trees and leafs on the roof and front of my car. I quickly change and went down. Checked the situation. Luckily, it's just some tree trunk ( not too big ones ) 'lying' next to my car. So we slowly pull it aside, cos don't want to get any scratches on my car. :)

Thank God for protecting me and keeping my car save. I think i should do something goo in return. So i've decided. I will be less bitchy to others ... for one day. ( ~ your cue to laugh )

No la, just joking. I always good and friendly to other people one. ( ~ now laugh louder ;p )

好 DEEP 啊。。。

Went for dinner with 小S ( you know who you are and yeah, that's your new nickname ) and 高妹 on Thursday. Eat and chat on lots of things. Then 小S shared with us something that he heard from a famous host :
( can't remember the exact words, but the meaning is the same la ;p )

很多藝術家的作品都會帶點灰暗感覺。因為他們覺得‘快樂‘是很容意得到的，也很膚淺。而‘灰暗的世界‘就比較有深度。
( A lots of masterpieces from the famous artist in the world are more towards darkness/ negativity. Cos they thought that happiness is too easy to get and it's shallow. But darkness / sadness on the other hand, is deeper.

And my instant thought was :

還好我是膚淺的。
( Thank God i'm a SHALLOW person. ;p )

Sorry la, i really don;t think that i can do any of those EMO stuffs. I mean, why bother to go DOWN when you can stay UP hight right?

Finally, went to the Chinese masseur yesterday for a traditional Chinese massage. This is to avoid making anymore 'urggh' sound when i climb staircase.;p

I'm not sure if my body ( muscle & joints ) are really tangled or he is really strong, but i felt kinda painful during the session. I guess he saw my 'suffering' face while massaging. So he asked :

Him : Painful issit? ( 痛嗎？)

Me : A bit. ( 有一點。)

Him : Scream if it's painful. ( 痛就喊出來啊。)

Me : Err... ok.

It's not that i don't want to let him know that i'm in pain, but :

a) my body is aching all over, so i dunno i'm suppose to feel the pain when he press or not ;p

b) it's very hard to open your mouth n scream when you are lying face down and your head ' tertanam ' in that hole. Sekali i open my mouth my saliva meleleh. ;p

c) i am NOT a screamer ( unless when i'm pissed or angry ;p )

p/s : there's another reason why i don't scream, cos my tone will go huru-hara .. just like when i scream in class. lol ;p

.. when you constantly making the ' urghh ' sound climbing up the staircase. That's what happened to me when i climb up the staircase in the gym today. Partly because my whole body is aching, and also the age factor .. i think. It's so embarrassing, cos there's members behind me. But who cares lah kan? As long as i am still VOGIU when i'm not climbing. Worst come to worst, i'll take elevator for the rest of my life. LOL ;p

Whenever i give my business card to others, 80% of them will ask the same question :

WHY YELLOW? Why not red or blue? Is it because of your surname? ( Hwang = 黃 )

And my standard answer will be : " No special reason. Just thought that yellow, white and grey are quite a nice color combo. " And i can sense that they are not very satisfied or should i say " disappointed " with my answer.

So, if i ask you " why yellow? ", can you give me a very creative and interesting answer?

Went for a meeting this morning. I'm suppose to propose some VM ideas to them, and i have to say .. i'm quite confident and happy with my proposals, cos i think ( know ) that this will work. So i presented and they are quite happy with it. They happy, i happy. But the one think that i am super thrill about is ... I WAS HAVING GOOSEBUMPS THROUGHTOUT MY WHOLE PRESENTATION, cos i am very proud of it. :)

After the meeting, finally got the payment that i've been waiting for. :))

I NEED HELP.

"I"'ve been sending hundreds of spam mails to those in my contact list, friends and clients. It's so embarrassing to receive calls from clients asking me to do something ( that i did not do ;p ).

Some ask me to report to yahoo or do some anti-virus scan .. but how to do that? Bare in mind, i'm an IT blind person ok? I need really clear instruction, if possible clear and short. LOL :p

If changing to a new email account is NOT( or the last ) an option, what else can i do?

Ever since i came back from the holiday, i've been sleeping well at night. I used to wake up 1 or 2 times at night, but now, when i open my eyes ... it's already morning. I know it's a good and healthy sign, but sometimes i do miss the OLD sleeping pattern.

You know that "silly kiasu psychology" where you wake up in the middle of the night and look at the clock : " 4am? Good, got 4 more hours to sleep." But now wake up means wake up. No more time to 'continue' the sleep. Felt a bit RUGI la...lol ;p

Do you think that i'm crazy, or you actually feel me? :)

開花了

I was going out to tapao lunch. So i grab a t-shirt and wear. I noticed that the neckline is a bit loose but i thought : " What the heck? Just go out for a while. Ok la. "

But when i reached the kopitiam, i started to feel uncomfortable. I kept adjusting my t-shirt so that it won't look so worn out. I think i am very concern on how i look .. i think the loose neckline looks so tak-glam. So i quickly tapao, then came back. And that t-shirt is now with the pile of ' house-tee '. ;p

Do you wear those slightly loose neckline/ collar t-shirt when you go out?

( I think i'll be caught dead if i go out wearing this collar 'kembang setaman' t-shirt ;p )

This is not the first time for me. I have a very serious 'sickness'. I can only 'recognize' people when they are in the studio ( unless the few that i am close with la ). But i think it's acceptable cos 1 instructor have to face so many members from so many classes in different gym. BUt it's easier for member to remember their instructor name, cos not a lot. But i don;t understand why my friend can't remember her instructor's name at all.

I was doing the window display at one of the shop in Tropicana City Mall when a young Malay couple came in and ask for some direction. I think they are really SUEI that day cos they ter-went to the "DIVA" of the shop for direction.

Young guy : Bang, xxx ( dunno what shop is that ) kat maner yer?

DIVA : ( bengang kena panggil 'bang'. lol ;p ) U pergi kat sana ,pas tu belok kiri. then jalan terus.

Young guy : Belok kiri pas tu maner?

DIVA : ( already giving the raising eyebrow look ) jalan terus.

Young guy : ( turned to her girlfriend .. then back to the DIVA ) Betul ke bang? Jalan terus ke?

DIVA : Uh huh.. jalan terus, langgar aje ape yang ada.

Young guy : Thank you ( then quickly went out )


I was laughing in the window listening to their conversation. Kesian betul cik abang tu. Tapi emmang padan muka pun. Cakap 2 kali pun tak paham-paham.

Nothing much on Paree as well. Went to the La Fayette to shop for other people ~ LV, BV & Longchamp. ( Tips : If you want to buy those branded stuff, go early morning. No queue at the boutique as well as the detax counter ) Went to the Lourve to see Lisa姐 ( 也不過如此 ;p ).

Went to see a performance in Paris, the world famous ~ MOULIN ROUGE. ( Tips : Don't watch it on the 1st day you arrived, cos you'll be knocking your head against the wall trying not to fall asleep ;p ) Err... i think it was just a so-so show. Great props and backdrop. But the costume coordination was a bit kelam-kabut. Sekejap Egypt, then suddenly add in Oriental. Me ( was in showbiz ) and Yasmin ( currently in fashion line ) oso tak boleh tahan. Guess as long as they are baring their top, no one cares right? ;p

Trying very hard to look cultured by admiring the paintings that i tak faham. ;p

Maybe i should do a 'Mulan Loot' bar here. And all my dancers will bare their ... foot. LOL.

Normally. i close my BIG DEAL once a day, every morning after brushing my teeth. But ever since i came back from the trip, i've been closing deal few times a day. Mostly very GOOD DEAL, very 'profitable' .. not the sakit perut way. But the funny thing is, i cut down my food after the trip cos gained some weight during CNY and the trip.

Funny kan?
Normal food intake ~ one DEAL a day.
Less food intake ~ multiple DEALS a day.
I wonder how come there's so many stocks?

After attending just a few classes, i'm already running low on my candies and chocolate for the members. And still got 3 more classes to go. Now i have to take some from those that i reserved for my family so that it's enough for everyone ( almost ).

Hmm .. maybe i should estimate more on the souvenir next time.
( Padahal, i didn't buy anything for myself, just 2 CD from the musicals. ;p )

Do you have the 'tradition' or habit to buy stuff/souvenir for almost everyone that you know every time you go traveling?

Lon-the-don

Since this is not the first time for us visiting London and Paris, so we did not take a lot of touristy pictures. So don't expect Eiffel Tower and Big Ben in the coming posts. ;p

The main reason for us to go to London is to meet up with the ever lovely and sometimes crazy Win-ni. Secondly is to watch the musicals ( aimed this since 2007, after i watched my 1st musical "Chicago" in London. I'm not going write the synopsis of both musicals here ( you want to know? google sendiri ;p ). But below are my humble feeling after watching the musicals ...

WICKED :
Sangat sedap. Nice costume & props and of cos, nice songs. I've been humming "Defying Gravity" since i watched a scene in Ugly Betty where they went to see WICKED. Really worth the money lorr..:)

THE LION KING :
LAGI SEDAP. I was having goose-bumps the moment the actress open her mouth and sing ( in some African native language ) at the very first scene. So nice set, everything was really good. They even walked thru the audience to go on stage, so that we can have a closer look on their costume and feel the ambience. And oh ya, i cried 2 times ~ once when they sang "Can you feel the love tonite" and at the finale. Sangat the touching lorrr...


Looking forward to watch other musicals in the future.
Any recommendations besides Phantom & Mamma Mia?

I was doing my business ( big one ;p ) it the gym's toilet when suddenly a loud ringtone ( boom boom pow.... boom boom pow... ) came from the next cubicle ... make people terkejut & terkecut only. The guy answered the phone. He then talk and talk and talk for about 5 minutes. And there i was, forced to listen to his conversation.

Don't you think it's a bit rude to talk in the toilet? Huuhh.. nak 'close deal' dengan peacefully pun tak boleh. ;p

I won't ... normally i will silent it so that it won't ring at all. ;p

Running Potato

Ever since CNY, my daily life can be summarized by using only 2 words : COUCH POTATO. No wonder my body oso more and more like potato ;(

Not much VM job to do since CNY. It will be the low season for VM till end April. Luckily i still got the classes to do. Or else sure i die boredom

Last Friday, nothing to do. Gatal. Went jogging for an hour ( cos really cannot tahan the shape of my body liao ;p ). Never jogged like that before in my life, but was worth it. Cos the ' permandangan sepanjang jalan' was quite nice. LOL ;p

The next day, my kaki macam nak tercabut. Naik pentas pun susah. Members laughed at me. Damn. ;(


Went jogging again today. Hopefully it will be ok tomorrow. 2 classes, and i'm going to do the song that i played over and over again these few days ~ BORN THIS WAY by my sister GAGA. :p

I think this is the 'most normal' song with positive message from GAGA so far and i'm loving it! Fast fast go listen and let me know how you feel. :)

心低話。

I was at the saloon getting my hair cut. As usual, i'll wash my hair. And the shampoo boy was trying to PR with me. Asking me what do i do, where do i work, where do i stay, etc. At first it was still ok, but he is getting more and more annoying.

I told him i am teaching dance classes in fitness centre. Then he asked me a BONUS question :

" So you teach the people dance lah? "
（ So, 你係嘪教個D人跳舞吤？）

I answered, " Yes."

But in my heart, " Of cos teach people lah, abothen? teach ghost ahh? "
（更係教人跳舞啦，唔通教鬼跳咩？）

Do you think it is very rude if i answer him like that? But that's the truth worr...lol ;p

There's this girl in my class who always have a very serious facial expression. One day, in the middle of the class, i told her to smile while dancing. So that she can relax and enjoy more. And she did, she smiled for me ... and i finally know why so never smile in the class ...

I felt sorry for her ;p

You know, some people were born to look better when they are not smiling. I am one of them. cos when i smile, my face will blush and i'll show my whole set of teeth and my super big gum. ;p

One more thing, i hope that our florist ( most of them ) can spend more time study and improve their bouquet wrapping style. Cos from my observation, 70% of the flower bouquets in the market are being presented with horrible wrapping/packaging. They always add a few layers of colorful wrapper to make it bigger. But to me, they just made the bouquet looks cheaper. Don't they know that LESS is MORE?

I was at the gym working out. When i was doing sit up, i noticed a girl passed by and stared at me. Not sure why she was smiling. After the workout, i went to the changing room. Took off my shirt then my pants and ... astaghfirullahalazim!!!

But i have to thank that girl for not telling me. At least i can finish my whole workout session. Cos if she did, i will be so damn malu ! LOL :p

p/s : luckily i was not wearing a fancy color or design underwear...lol ;p

After he finished his long lecture, i turned to him and said :

I was talking to my friend about Hello Kitty. We normally described Kitty as rounded, whitish, with a bow ribbon, innocent rounded eyes, etc rite? Then i told him that actually Hello Kitty have a boyfriend ~ Dear Daniel. And when he asked me to describe Dear Daniel, i only used 3 words ...

" Like cat lorr " ( 貓樣囉 )

At that very moment, i realized that i KILLED all the cuteness on Dear Daniel. ;p

I was at McD yesterday for lunch. Had a set of my favorite Double Cheese Burger. So satisfying. :)~

As i was enjoying the burger, i noticed that there's some people who poured out all their fries on the tray. To me it's a bit messy ( berselerak macam makanan ayam jerr. ;p ).

Do you think that is the more fun and yummy way to eat fries?

Was doing the spring cleaning for my laptop and found these clips. A project i did last year which brought me a lot of good reviews and opportunities. It's a performance by the staff for the company's charity dinner. I also broke my own record as this is the biggest group of staffs that i've taught ( 50+ ) for a company's performance by far.

Normally at the end of the class, i will say to the members : " Good JOB everyone and hope you enjoy the class. See you again next week."

But to day, dunno what possessed me. After all the cool down routine, i turned to them and said :
" Good ~~~ D-O-G !!!! "

Oh my God!!! So the salah!!! This is by far the most SALAH things i ever said in the class.

super efficient

There's this friend of mine who likes to wait / hold on to everything. Like need to cool it off （攤凍 ）a bit before start. For example, SMS-ing.

Me : eh, you got SMS lerr.

Him : nvm la. ( he waited for about 5 mins then only he check the SMS. not that he got anything to do during that 5 mins )

Are you same as him?
Or normally you'll check and reply the SMS as soon as possible?
I'm definitely the efficient one, and sometimes OVER efficient lol ;p
( unless i purposely ignore the sms la ;p )


p/s : my ipod died on me yesterday right before the class ( kenanga international ). end up i have to run all the way to Pavilion to get the original CD, as i've only choreographed the steps for that song.

順得姐來“我失意“ 。。。

After the class, one of my che-che suggested that we should have a 'Dance Battle' after CNY. It's the battle between me and all the che-ches in my class. FYI, those che-ches in my class are really sporting and active type. Everyone was quite excited with the idea, and some already discuss on how to do the battle.

I have no problem doing the battle, but i'm just not sure whether i should win or lose in the battle.

You see :

If i WIN, they might not be happy. Cos i want them to be happy at the end of the day.

If i LOSE, what if the news got spread out that the instructor actually got beaten by the members? There goes my reputation and hope to get more new members lah?

So how?

sleeping beauty wannabe ...

There's 3 type of drinks that i won't touch after 7pm. Cos if i do, i will be rolling on my bed the whole night ... with my eyes open wide.

1. Coke ( just coke, i'm ok with pepsi or 100 plus..;p )
2. Tea ( english or chinese, tak kisah, as long as it's TEA )
3. Coffee ( unless i want to get robbed or raped. my heart will beat super fast, i will feel dizzy and sometimes a bit high ;p )

眼花！一定係我眼花！！

I was queueing at the autopay machine behind an uncle and a young lady. Suddenly that uncle dropped his parking ticket. So he kneeled dow to pick up the ticket, and something caught my eyes. Its either this uncle ( at least 60 years old ) is too poor until his underwear koyak-rabak left the strings or he is actually wearing a g-string!!!

Why all this unpleasant things always happened on me? And now i have a whole new point of view on sexiness for g-string. ;(

I was in the gym's changing room preparing for my next class when this guy cam in and took the locker next to mine. He is a regular member, cos i saw him quite often. And every time i look at him, i'll got attracted to him. There's something huge hanging on his body that is quite impossible not to notice.

He is quite young ( mid 20's ) and got a very toned body. But the thing that caught my attention most is his super big size ... GOLD PENDANT !!! That pendant is at least 5cm ( diameter ) with some carving on it. I'm quite surprise cos i thought young people nowadays don't really go for gold accessories anymore.


I myself don't really like gold accessories. Cos it doesn't go with my skin tone, and also looks a bit 'cina' if you got the 'wrong' design. I prefer silver. In fact, i love it more if it's in matte or sand-blasted finishing. Cos i don't like too shiny stuff on me.

Are you a gold person? Or you like silver more, just like me?

This is the 3rd time she called me JASON ... this month. No matter how many times i corrected her, she will still call me JASON the next time she talk to me. I really got the JASON face meh? Cos i think i have the DANNY look and attitude. I know i definitely can't carry RICHARD or Raymond lah... too serious liao. :)

I was talking to my printer the other day. And when we talked about our age, he was surprised when i told him that i am 34 this year. Cos all the while he thought that i am younger than him ( he is 28 this year ). I am so happy. :P

Yesterday i bumped into one of my client in the shopping mall. The first thing she told me is :

" Danny, 你0甘樣著很‘得意‘。哈哈。“
" Danny, you look cute/funny wearing like this. "

So now i am a bit confused.
My printer thought i am young cos my look or ( childish ) attitude?
My client said that cos i wore something too young ( for my age)?

I know this step and yoga instructor since i started teaching. And every time we i him, i'll tease him. I now call him Prince of Pecah ( since the movie Prince of Persia is out ;p ). Coz he got a very manly look ( like 方中信 ), face with mustache, healthy / sporty tanned skin and not to mention, a very fit body. But once he buka mulut ... YA ALLAH...

It's like a am talking to Lin ZiLin ( 志玲姐姐 ) ! Super 嗲 !!! I can't imagine myself attending his class. Sure cannot concentrate one. lol ;p

A quick recap on how i spent my 12 hours today :

0430 : woke up, shower and ready to leave the house
0500 : depart from my house, drove all the way up to Penang
0900 : reached Queensbay Mall, Penang and start display set up
1145 : finished set up then went for lunch and shop a bit
1240 : left Queensbay Mall, drove back to KL
1630 : reached home, and stoned! ;p

Today marked another achievement for me, as this is my 1st time drive to a place so far... ALONE ( my record is till Port Dickson only lol ;p ) 4 hours drive was surprisingly ok for me and i love driving early in the morning. It's just that driving on an almost empty and dark highway between 5am to 645am is kinda scary. Kept speeding to catch up with the car in front ( to share a bit light maaa...lol ;p )

I always admire those who know how to whistle ( using their mouth ) cos i can't. Not sure why, maybe my mouth too big or my lips too thick. ;p

But lately i am hating it. Cos there's this stupid loud whistle disturbs my sleep every morning. Really not sure if it's from some uncle / pack cik downstairs or the birds from the hill in front of my balcony. It's really loud and punctual ( 7am every day )

Do you know how to whistle?
Can anybody give tips on how to do the whistling thing? Cos i think it's quite cool to do that, especially 'duet' with a nice song. :)


p/s : after whistle, maybe i want to try BEATBOX .. anyone interested?

唔好再搖啊！！！

I was sitting at the waiting area in the bank. When suddenly i felt a bit dizzy, cos i think the ground was shaking a bit. I looked at this girl sitting next to me. SHE WAS SHAKING HER LEGS ( 搖腳／抖腳 )! It's so annoying. She is young. She looks kinda ' ada belajar ' and sophisticated. :(

Just for your info, i am extremely sensitive to moving / shaky ground. And i'll get dizzy easily from that. People who are close to me should know how i hated them shaking their legs.

Do you have this habit? Shaking your legs when you have nothing to do? Or you just hated then just like i do?

It's the 10th day of the new year, and i a still in the Chinese-New-Year- Window-Display-Set-Up-Marathon since 1st January 2011. I have not really have time to 'enjoy' the new year. I am not complaining about the busy schedule, cos i know at the end of the day, $ is more important for now. ;p

Thanks to all the non-stop projects, the multiple dance classes, constant work out and a bit of help from the 'fitness cereal', i am now at my desired weight. ( YAY! ) And not only that, i think my 'saham' has gone up a bit. ( double YAY ! ;p ) But i must work harder to maintain it, cos CNY is near. And i know i am going to eat lots of 'dried meat' ( 肉干 ) yummy yummy .... ;P~

So, are you having a 'happy' new year so far?

lucky STAR

Biaomei called me this morning. Her visa is finally approved. I'm so happy for her.

But i am even happier when she called me her 'LUCKY STAR'. Cos it's so happened that every time ( ok, maybe just a few times la ) after she shared her problem with me, the issue will kinda solved quite fast ( or not immediately ). It feel so good that you are actually useful to others ( maybe not directly ). I know i don't have any special power to make things happen. It's all coincident. But still, it's nice to be others 'lucky charm'. :)

I don't think i have any so-called lucky charm that i bring along with me everyday. But i know where to find my luck, my dreams and my happiness.

the Vs

Ever since i won the Paris trip, i suddenly got a lot of new best friends. Some trying to get the flight seat next to me, whole others tumpang me to buy things .. particularly "El Wee". I really don't know what's so great about LV. I won't say that their design is the most interesting among other designer labels but yet, lots of people ( especially people in Malaysia ) gila about it.

FYI, i had a not very good experience when i shopped at LV ( Chamgs-Elysees, Paris ) few years back. We went in the shop to get something ( also tumpang-ed by others ). The sales person was a bit rude and ignorant to us. She wasn't really keen to serve us until i took out my credit card ad told her i want that 2 bags. Immediately after that, she offered me drinks. KNS !!!

Back to LV. Now, i don't fancy designer labels. Both my Gucci namecard holder and BV wallet were gifts from friends. But personally i prefer BV more than LV. Maybe bcos i can see 'that monogram' berlambak kat merata jalan when we go shopping. At least BV's signature woven texture is subtle and more elegant ( to me lah ).

My question is, if money is not a problem, which one do you prefer?

Are you good at making eye contact? I know i'm not. In fact, i'm a too scared to do it.

As an instructor, we are suppose to make more eye contact with the members, just to show our appreciation and attention to the members. But i noticed that there's a few members in the class who like to look at me when they dance. Not looking at my body, but my face .. MY EYES. Cos whenever i ter-looked at them, sure our eyes will ter-looked at each other. ( 肥妹鬼和貼身膏藥是其中之二 ;p)

Sometimes i really dunno what to do, or how to respond. I tried not to look at them, but i can't. Cos these particular member likes to stand directly behind me. So whenever i look at myself in the mirror, i sure see another pair of eyes eyeing at me. Sien ahh !!!

What should i do?

2011 : produktif nyerr

Started my new year with a super busy schedule. I installed 2 CNY windows on 1st Jan itself. And today, another CNY window and 2 replacement classes. I think this is the first time i work on New Year's Day. Tiring but satisfying, cos i know i started my new year with a productive way. :)
